That time is known as NanoPrep.

As you all know, I recently started a writer’s group with another lady in the FM area. It was lovely to gather with others who love to write! I want to share with you some things I learned about setting up the first meeting for a writer’s group. Keep reading though, because after I am sharing my NanoWrimo Survival Kit and a blog tour schedule for this week! I will update my webpage tomorrow with the full schedule for October 20th-31st!
Things to do for a great first writer’s group meeting:
1.) Meet up in a nice comfortable place
2.) Introduce yourselves, so you feel comfortable with everyone.
3.) Be sure to mention if you’ve been in a writing group before and share how your other ones were run and figure out what you and the others want from the group meetings.
4.) Just be open with everyone. Share your knowledge and they will share theirs.

How has the beginning of summer been for everyone?
I’ve been having a grand ole’ time.
My boyfriend just got to Sydney, Australia and will be catching his next flight in the morning (Australia time). I am getting excited that he will be here tomorrow night. Time changes are different aren’t they? But, yes… I am definitely excited. It has been about 5 months since I last saw him. Crazy, right? I have been writing articals and blog entries on long distance relationships. Who would be interested in seeing some of them?
