Resources to Help You Be MORE Awesome!

Every artist, writer, designer, and platform-builder needs to have great resources. This page will be updated from time to time with all kinds of resources that I use, love, and recommend. I Hope they will help you as much as they have helped me.

Quick Note: Some resources are free, and others aren’t. The ones that are paid resources are affiliate products. That means if you buy them, I get a commission at no extra cost to you. Please know that everything I add to this page is something that I have personal experience with and is something I highly recommend. I will only ever put things on this page, which I fully recommend.

Website Design –

Angie Makes – Is a husband and wife duo that design website themes and graphics. They make themes that are easy to use and fresh on the eyes and spirit.

Fitness –

Fitbit – I’ve found fitness to be very important to a creative’s lifestyle. I own the Fitbit Flex. Last year I lost 13 lbs in a month while tracking my steps with it. It syncs to your smart phone Fitbit app and can connect with other health apps as well.

Writing –

Story Cartel Course – This course is an amazing chance to learn how to write short stories and helps you get your writing out there. I really enjoyed this course and totally believe you would as well.

Story is a State of Mind –  Ever wanted to go on a writing retreat? Yes? Who doesn’t? This is an awesome writing retreat that you can print and escape with to a cabin in the country, which will help you get a refreshed view on your writing.

Tribe Writers – A multimedia course with Jeff Goins on writing and building your tribe. This course will draw out your voice and give you ideas on what to write about and how to find your niche.

Publishing –

Launch Your Book On Story Cartel – This is a free resource where you can upload your book onto the Story Cartel, which will allow people to download your digital book in exchange for reviewing it on Amazon. Awesome opportunity to get more eyes on your book and also some reviews.
