Why I blog…

1474563_10100147957081260_1407930040_nHello everyone, I am back from D.C. and New York. It was an amazing trip with Johan. We had a beautiful time there.

Why I Blog

When I originally started blogging, which was back in high school and through till college – I did it as an online journal of sorts.

It wasn’t until after I got back from Australia in 2011 when I started doing more writing tutorials on my blog.

SONY DSCIt’s then, that I started doing guest posts and writing about my travels.

This year, I started this website for the main purpose of sharing my writing, while also helping people. Whether that be in their daily lives, health related things, writing, relationships, and also traveling.

My audience is made up of both men and women. They are mostly writers, readers, travelers, and lover’s of life.

I want to continue spreading joy and helping people along on the pathway of their lives.

D.C. & N.Y.C.

Johan and I really enjoyed our time away in D.C. and N.Y.C.

History kept coming to me in stories and hints from the past. It was seen in the architecture and also through the stories of the people.

So many great men and women paved the way for all of us to be where we are today. That is another thing I want to do with my blog. I want to make a difference. I want my words to pave the way, to bring light into the darkness and to make a difference like those who did before I was born.

How about you? Why do you blog – if you do? If not, why don’t you blog?

  1. Devin I love that shot, so unique and beautiful, wishing you a peaceful festive season from oz where you would know it is summer and yet down the far south coast, no sign of it yet.

  2. I started out blogging because it seemed like the most logical next step in order to fit myself into the ‘author’ category somewhere. Now I can look back on it, and forward to what will come, and see that it’s more of a learning adventure than anything else. I keep blogging because I have friends, but also because it forces me to keep pushing back boundaries I wouldn’t normally cross because I want to share.

I love your blog, so I’m really glad you started!
