Current Life And Writing Goals

Life has been so busy hasn’t it?

I am working at CoSchedule. Still loving it. Also starting my creative side-hustle business and am writing as much as I can.  I am getting married in June, so I’ve been really busy getting all the wedding things figured out from bridesmaid dresses to DJs and wedding cakes.

Also, my fiancé, Johan will be coming to the states on the 30th of this month. SO SOON! Guys and gals… long distance relationships really do work. :)

Every month I am going to share my goals for the month:

1. Move every day and go to the gym.

Health is so important. It’s so important. So I’ve been trying to figure out a plan to get myself moving more every day.

I want to live a great life and not have health issues. So I am going to start out my days by going for a walk.

This is my new morning routine:

7am: Wake Up!
7:30-8:00am: Go for a walk or run.
8-8:20am: Eat breakfast and pack my lunch for work.
8:30am: Head to work.
9am: At work.

So starting Monday. I will be out there walking at 7:30 am. And besides that… once I get to work in the morning, our marketing team has a meeting at 9am. So, I will take a walk once that meeting ends.

And then I’ll take another walk before lunch. And another one later in the day. And then another walk in the evening. I am going to try get 10,000 steps a day. That is about 5 miles a day.

2. Wake up earlier.

I am a night owl. I love staying up late. Which means, I don’t really love mornings.

That has to change.

3. Write something every day.

Here are my current “personal” writing goals:

  1. Write at least 10,000 words of current work in progress: which means that if I’d like to have 10,000 words written before Johan arrives here, I’d need to set a goal of writing at least 834 words every day in the week until Johan arrives.
  2. Write blog and email updates for www.lifewritingwanderlust.com and www.dancingpoetcreativemedia.com and freelance projects. I’ll dedicate these projects to my weekends.

Speaking of blogging, just so you know… I will be publishing a blog post twice a month. The other two weeks I’ll be sending out a super awesome email to my email subscribers with awesome-ness filled to the brim in them. If you want into my awesome email club, then sign up here!!!
